Worship begins at 10:30am. Nursery care is availble beginning at 10:15am. Coffee and conversation to follow.
October 28 is a children’s chapel Sunday. A few times each year, our elementary-age children are sung out of worship after the Time for All Ages to the Harrop Center for a children’s chapel, a project and a ritual. This time, we’re honoring loved people and pets who have passed away.
Children in grades K-12 will be sung out to Harrop Center where they will construct the Memory Wall that will be the centerpiece of our altar the following week. Middle and high schoolers can choose to come with us or stay in the service and talk about grief and loss. Kids can bring a picture or memento of a loved one or pet who has died, or we’ll have materials for them to create a tribute
This Sunday September 23 is ReImagining Sunday and the 2018 Beauty Walk/Roll.
Worship begins in the sanctuary. Join us as we Come and Find the Quiet Center (in the crowded life we lead). This year, you will be invited to take a solo journey, a time of meditative silence, as you notice your connection with beauty and joy within and without.
This all-ages adventure begins at 10:30 sharp in the sanctuary. See you there, and bring your best traveling shoes/wheels, and perhaps a camera or journal.
Join us at 10:30 am for our Songs by the Sea Ingathering Service! Childcare for children 4 and under will be available in the Harrop Center, beginning at 10:15am!
Then cross the street to Lady Fairhaven Park for the Blessing of the Backpacks at 11:45!
Finally, join us immediately following the blessing for a luncheon on our lawn!
