This study guide explores current issues and challenges we now face in our democracy. Including learning about the Supreme Court decision in “Citizens United” that ruled Corporations are People and Money is free speech and how that is effecting our democratic process. It is a call to envision our role as a faith community to promote a societal ethos that affirms dignity for all, that takes responsibility for the human role in ecological disaster and openness to rethink our use of political power and production of wealth.
