As we contemplate a new beginning, together, how shall we hold our history and this living, breathing moment? This service marks the end of candidating week with Jordinn Nelson Long; a special congregational vote to call will immediately follow the service.
As humans, we wish to connect, and we yearn to celebrate . . . and yet, the reality: we have questions. Wonderings. And yes, we can say it: doubts. What does it mean, as a people of faith, to also claim the legacy and blessings of deep critical inquiry—and where might we go from here?
