We need to grow our skills at human relations and to devote time and effort to that work as part of our religious life. The second principle as it is now avoids real human relations and is due for a change.
This is the last service at our church until August. Services at the New Bedford Unitarian church are at 11 am. For service information, log on to: www.uunewbedford.org.
An "alternative" Sunday summer service: The first Sunday in August will be a "Spiritual Circle." It will have candles of joy and concern, one or more readings on a particular topic, meditation, discussion, chanting, and the like. The other services in August will be regular services for our foreign guests and parents who are "church shopping" so that they will experience our usual grand tradition
Sunday Services at our Unitarian Memorial Church will resume on Aug. 3 at 9:30 am in the Parish House.
Child Care will be available in Harrop Center.
